We are a faith family, of every age and stage of life, brought together because of what God has done for us and in us through Jesus Christ. Although we are not a perfect people, we are thankful to have experienced God's forgiveness and to be following the One who is perfect. Together, we seek to know God and to make Him known in Greensboro and beyond. For that reason, we assemble to worship God together and to be directed by His purposes and His Word. We do this through worship services, small group Bible studies for all ages, mission activities, music that spans several styles and through caring about each other and our communities.

We believe that God’s purposes are bigger, broader, and more important than any one denomination. We have chosen, however, to associate with the Southern Baptist denomination for a couple of key reasons; the stance they take on the Bible as the authoritative Word of God and the cooperation among Southern Baptist churches to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This cooperation is unique in that churches work together to fully fund the work of missionaries sent out into the world. God's Word and His purposes are indispensible for us if we are to know Him and make Him known.

As we meet together to worship God, we learn how to live our lives under the direction of His Spirit. God teaches us through His Word how to love one another and to love all people. We seek to be equipped to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help one another walk with God. We are ordinary people who believe we can have an extraordinary influence on the lives of others as we operate under the direction of the Holy Spirit to share the truth and love of God. We believe this is what God has placed us in this area of the world to facilitate. By God’s grace we exist to: Love God, Love Others, Share Jesus and Disciple Believers.
